Car Mode question and/or suggestion

I love using the display in Car Mode that shows the map (with traffic!), Weather, and Music.

I have two questions and/or suggestions:

1)  Make the map stay centered on my location.  Scroll the map, not my location.  The dot for my location moves up (if going north) on the map to the verrrry edge, then re-centers itself in the middle.  I'd rather have the dot for my location stay in the middle whilst the map scrolls.

2)  It would be nice if the speed units could be switched to mph for us poor souls here in the USA.  I can switch temperature to Fahrenheit but why not switch speed units to mph?

Just a couple annoyances in an otherwise awesome phone.

1) Car mode its a simple way to open existing apps on your phone, maps, its odd that your location doesn't stay in the center, how fast is your internet connection? 

settings > apps > all > maps > clear cache > uninstall updates 

2) Maps > menu > settings > Distance units > Miles

Maps and Nav show in the correct units.  I've not upgraded to the most recent maps cause, well, I hate it.  😉

I've got a C5306 on AT&T in the USA so I'm getting 4G and have full signal cruising down the highway so it should be able to keep up.  

I'm not talking about the actual maps or navigation app.  I'm talking about Car Mode.  Enter Car Mode then hit the button in the top right that looks like a rectangle with music/nav/weather icons in it.  You're then in the screen I'm talking about.  It's a seriously handy screen.  I love it.  I just shows in km/h and the dot scrolls on the screen not visa versa.

Not a big deal....
