Okay - to give a little bit more detail on the problem. I picked up my new handset and followed the steps to sync my google account (this account had been synced sucessfully with my old x10 mini pro for the last 2 years). Contacts and g-mail have synced fine but calendar remains problematic.
I reset the handset back to stock and re-tried twice with no joy to sync my calendar. I tried putting my wifes calendar on, i also tried to delet my google account but you cant do this without resetting the phone which i did above (twice).
I looked online which suggested going into manage applications and clearing the calendar related data would do the trick, again no joy.
At this point i exchanged the handset because the keyboard was faulty, again on the new handset the sync on the calendar is not working. To make the isue stranger, the sync seems to work from phone to google but not the other way - so i can put new events into google but i cant see whre i'm supposed to be.
In case anyone suggests that i dont have the correct sync settings ticked I can assure you i've checked these around 64 million times and i'm still pulling my hair out with this problem.
Any other suggestions?
