CANT CONNECT TO INTERNET (EXPERIA J)

Hi! I'm from the Philippines. I bought an Experia J (ST26i) last December 2012. I didnt received the automatic GPRS & MMS setting that is normally being sent by the telephone service provider after initially inserting the SIM card to a new phone. So I called Globe Telecom (my provider) and requested for manual configuration, and they have provided it to me. I performed everything they've instructed me to do such as restarting my phone, unmounting and mounting of sim card, etc. However, for some reason I can't figure out, I still can't connect to the internet using my providers data plan. I called them again to double check the correct settings and they confirmed that I have the correct internet setting for their network. I tried using my sim card to other phone unit and the internet service worked flawlessly using my provider's data service. That said, I firmly believed that the one's causing the problem is my Experia J. I dont if this will help, but according to the vendor of my phone, my unit came from Singapore. I'm not sure if that's the one that's causing this issue. Please help! Thank you.

go to settings > data usage > mobile data must be on

also

settings > more > mobile networks > network mode > WCDMA preferred

Thank you for taking the time to help me. Unfortunately, it still didn't work... Slightly_frowning_Face Just a clarification, should I just tick "WCDMA only" or "WCDMA preferred/GSM" option?
