hi guys,
i bought my xperia Arc S in january this year, phone work'd for 3-4 days, and it started with reboot issue.Replacing sim card for two times and no result, problem with reboot still there.Next step is sending phone to service center, they done some reflashing and testing, nothing changed when i got phone back.Since i got it some time in end of may (android 4.0 came up) i just updated it trough PCC od v.4.0.3.Start on,and ........voila phone didnt reboot, everithing look's so fine.......then i noticed that gsm signal bar is droping .......its gone.Fast go to net settings scan network ......my home net is there, tryn to hookup....no luck.Takin some time just to see what is new to 4.0 and noticed that wifi is also havin some problems to stay connected.
im almost 100% sure that this problem is from OS,so my only question is there any way that this will be resolved in 4.0.4.
so after 4 months my nightmare continue's,from reboots to no network, very disapointed.......but still like the phone
Have you tried using other SIM's since the 4.0.3 update? If not I think you should check if it makes any difference.
If problem still remains check if a software repair via PC Companion could fix the problem.
thx for reply johan,
1)yes i try'd,not just one,3-4 other sim cards,no luck,still cant get network.
2)repair didnt help, not via SUS or PCC,i try'd both of them.
any way,i found somewhere in forum uliwooli said that 4.0.4 resolved that issue, gsm net and wifi,so i could w8 for few more day's for patch.
