Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Please aware that all updates are rolled out in batches and are specific to the region and network (where applicable) that the product was made for. With this being the case not everyone will get the update at the same time. Unfortunately we are unable to confirm specific date for any particular firmware release due to the nature of the approval process.. For further information regarding the approval process please see here.

Dear Sam,
Thank you for your prompt, but very generic answer.
I would not see this as a problem since the update was released by you guys over two months ago. For comparison, The larger 4.3 android update was released, and I did get that update within 2 weeks of official roll-out start date. And you have to also take into account that this is a tablet, not a phone and thus not dependent on any carrier certification process.
So you have to understand, that its seems a bit ridiculous when I have to wait more than two months for a smaller update, while KitKat (4.4.2) is just around the corner and is being rolled out in May.
I have paid a fair amount of money for this tablet and have been loyal to the Xperia brand by owning several Xperia phones already. Your support thusfar has been nothing more than extremely lacking and I don't think you can afford losing more costumers based on this.
Best regards
Exactly Bluemoon737. I have the 32 GB wifi only model as well.
That is why I am baffled and don't get why I am not receiving the update. I mean there could be a hardware/software issue on my tablet, but these Sony guys aren't even looking into the problem to investigate properly. I paid 600 Euro's for this device and as part of the warranty agreement I have the right to some form of Support. This is ridiculous!!!
At least I know now that I am not the only one with this problem, so maybe if other costumers also post in this thread, they will take it seriously.
Which country are you from and would you mind using firmware from other geographic region?
You can flash to US stock frimware here:
Country is the Netherlands. What do you mean with generic regional software? Do you mean a custom ROM i.e. not released by sony?
Not custom rom. For example, the tablet sold in USA have some USA apps, so different region has different regional firmware. I think they should have a generic Europe/UK firmware over there. And flashing that firmware yourself won't void your warranty.
Allright, in that case, no, I don't really need any Dutch specific software features. So its good to know that there is an option to do this. (could you point me to a tutorial of some sort to do this, Also I could't find the latest generic build on the xperia website for download)
But what still puzzles me is the fact that several Dutch Xperia Tablet Z owners already have upgraded to the new firmware. So Why am I having this issue if the issue was region dependent.

Just the download that flashtool and the firmware ftf file you like.
