So my Sola's got the 6.0.B.1.564 firmware build, but the newest is 6.0.B.3.162.
According to both the PC Companion and then the Update Service, I've "got the latest software" for my phone. Is there any reason why I'm getting this? Is there any way for me to be able to properly update my phone's firmware?
Help, please.
This means 6.0.B.3.162 is not available yet for your phone in your country.
You will get it
Thanks for the response. That kind of begs some follow-up questions, though:
Note: I bought my Sola in the UK sim-free and used it for a while there.
Same build no of a firmware differs from country to country.
6.0.B.3.162. in one country may have 320 apps. while in other country may have 330 preinstalled apps.
Even settings in the firmware varies . for example in few firmwares camera sound is compulsory and hence there is no setting to disable it, while in others this option does exists.
Each firmware needs to be tested before it's released and that's the reason it takes time.
2) No answer for that unfortunately. You would get it as soon as it becomes ready
162 has been deleted due to some huge bugs, 184 is the latest but is not yet released for all regions.
