Cannot sync exchange mails when connected on GPRS

Hi,

I recently upgraded my xperia software to 6.1.A.2.45. After this, I have been facing a peculiar problem. The corporate email account is unable to sync when connected on GPRS. I get an error message "could not open connection to server". But the same works fine when connected on wifi network. I deleted the account and created a fesh account, but still the problem persists. If any of you have faced this issue, please help resolving this.

Does this problem occur if you  have Edge, HSDPA or 3G reception or only with GPRS?

Sounds like you might be missing correctly working internet settings.

You can get hold of new one's if you go to Settings - Xperia - Internetsettings in your phone.

I have GPRS connection. it is not really related to internet settings. Because I can browse internet on GPRS. it is just that exchange mails are not getting synced when connected on GPRS and it works fine when connected on wifi!

I installed Moxier and it works perfectly fine on GPRS & wifi. Seems like a problem with native mail client. Can i get this uninstalled and re-installed?
