Cannot play media via headphone:( Please help!!!!_/|\_

Hi guys! my phone's live manager is detecting headphones even when the headphones ia not connected. It is not playing music via headphones. I use the standard headphone which was provided to me during purchase of the phone(TIPO). I hav  checked my head phones and it is wrkng proerly in other sony phones. Please suggest me what to do. Waiting for some suggestions:(

This could be a couple of things, however to at least rule out a software issue please attempt to run a repair:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.
