I don't know what happened but I cannot install PC Companion onto my computer. I downloaded the software from the sony website but it keeps on popping out a message box saying "The installed version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate." everytime I tried to install it. Is it possible that this software is not compatible with Windows 7 or 64-bits?
There is no issue with Windows 7 on 64bit, this could be a user restriction issue, I suggest trying to log in as an administrator and trying to reinstall, also try turning off any anti virus and adaware programs.
