I've been trying to update my Xperia P to Jelly Beam, but all I get from the Sony Companion and the Update Center on the cellphone is "Your phone already has the latest available system updates".
Im on ICS right now, and I'd love to update to Jelly Beam, but I dont know what is going on, even in the sony page says that the last update for xperia P is JB.
Help!

You may already have the latest software, depending on the date of purchase. Software updates are released at different times depending on operator and/or country. Therefore, we cannot give you an exact date for when a specific update will be available for your device.
Android version: Google Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
Latest available software: 6.2.A.1.100
Release started: 2013-06-12
To find your device’s current software version:
Settings > About phone > Build number / version
In other words, you have 2 options
1. wait for the update to be approved and release in your country and/or network/carrier
or
2. manually update your phone with flashtool
The flashtool of Sony Emma or another one, and is there any risk of damage to the Xperia in the process?
