Hello ppls.
From the moment that I've decided to install the software update I'm having a bit of a problem.
I linked my Xperia S to my PC, with PC Companion. I started to download the update.
After it 'controlled' my phone, it was ready and I had to turn my phone off, put out the USB cable and put it in the PC again, meanwhile i had to push the volume button to lower. I have no clue why, but it said that I had to fulfill these steps in order to install the update.
I did that, nothing happened. So I decided doing it again, my phone turned on again. And I turned it off again.
From that moment my Xperia S won't go on anymore. It does nothing, it doesn't even show the red light when its on the charger.
Hope anyone can help me with this problem.. Really need to get my phone running again.
Kind regards,
JoeriSony

First try to hold on/off button and volume up button at the same time until you feel a vibration and see if the phone restarts.
Try to repair your phone again via Sony PC companion.
When doing a repair you should never start your phone, only hold volume down and connect the usb-cable (hold volume down all the time until PC companion is starting up the repair session)
Man, i had the same problem.. Only red light while it is on charger, and only red light while it is connected to PC with USB.. in beggining i could see a green light, maybe after 10 minutes on charger or bla bla.. when red light appear, i couldn't turn on the phone, pressing power and volume up button didn't work, even no vibrations..
I tried repairing it with Update Service (at the time when i could see green light when i press power button) and it fails. But when you see red light, you can repair it with Update Service..
Run Update Service, than on second step do what they say (press volume down button and connect your phone) Than on third step, select options, it says something like, Repair and Update (it's second option) Than if it finish update you will be able to turn on your phone..
Tip: Set your phone on charger before running Update Service..
Tip 2: If you can't turn on your phone when Update Service finish the job, set the phone on chargerm he should turn on automaticaly (or you turn it when after 5 minutes or whatever)
My problem is similiar, and it keep restart again and again, and can't connect to the PC because it can't turn on.
So what can I do?
Please help!!
