Can't Text

Can some one help me or tell me if this is the way The Xperia works during calls. My problem is that I can not use any application when Im on the phone. Can't text or send a pic, check the web not even FB. I use to do it on my other phones and hope this its just a problem and it can be fix. So if some one can easer me or let me know what to do I appreciated. Thanks and have a great day!!

Can you please elaborate on what happens when you try to use any of these other applications whilst you have a connected call?

If I try to text some one it will freeze completely until I finish the call. Same thing if I try to send a Pic, wont let me go back to the home screen and same trouble with the web search.

In this case please try this: Main Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Phone > Clear Data.
