can't text web URL

I'm on at&t network. Any time I put a web address in a text message and send it, my phone shows it sent, but the other person never receives it. I've tested it with two people who are using Iphones. One is on Verizon, the other is on straight talk I think.

For example, I put "testing airbnb.com" in a text to them. If I send it to my own number, it goes right through. I haven't tested on any other android phones yet. It doors this with both Textra and the stock messaging app. I'm almost positive it worked before I sent it for a screen replacement and Sony upgraded it to lollipop

Any ideas?

I made a little progress today. I went to a local at&t store and they confirmed that SOME websites are being blocked somewhere. For instance "airbnb.com" and "Facebook.com" won't go through, but Google.com and CNN.com will. They made a note on my account that they had gone through troubleshooting and confirmed it on multiple devices, so when I get a chance to call tech support, the process will go a little faster. I'm going to call tech support tomorrow and see if I can get an ultimate resolution.
