can't connect to Google servers to log in

New m4 aqua. Can not log in to google servers, used multiple WiFi and mobile connections. Creating account loads to "just a sec" screen for 3 or so minutes then could not connect to google servers. Is the same for all google apps with account log in or create.

I can not even enter the account address there is no screen to enter it or the pasword

boot on > safe mode > settings > accounts > add account > google > what do you see? 

are you on data or WiFi?

Have tried that in safe-mode with WiFi and mobile data with no data restrictions and it is still the same. The phone seems to not be able to call appon the servers. I have no idea if it is due to bad programing of the Google server address due to Sony removing some of the Google features or if google security blocking the request.

Some users in India have the same problem. YouTube has a video of a rooted m4 where the user modifies a file and resolves the problem

I would go with the former, a Google issue, if you want ot troubleshoot it, repair the phone with PCC and try again, it will narrow down the issue. Have you unlocked the bootloader?

Already did the pic repair. No unlocked bootloader

Ok first under settings/accounts/add account

Then tapping the blue google icon I get the just a sec screen and then couldn't sign in screen

When I tap next I return to the first screen. Incase your wondering nowhere in the process do I get asked for the google account or password
