Can't connect to 3 or 4 G

I've just switched from the iPhone to the z2 and absolutely love it. My only concern is that I can't seem to get 3G let alone 4G which I could with the iPhone. All I seem to get is a H or sometimes a H+. Is there a setting I need to activate to get 3/4 G?

You should be able to switch to 4G from settings-more-mobile networks-network mode.

Lozuk,

The H symbol is short for HSPA. Also known as 3G+, 3.5G, Turbo 3G.

In order for the phone to work in 4G, the phone and the mobile provider needs to be running on the same version of 4G. Which is usually not an issue if the phone if bought directly from the provider. If it doesn't , then it will drops to 3G or HSPA in this case.

But if you are very sure that the phone supports the same version of 4G as the network, then try this. Go to Settings > More > Internet settings and choose accept. If it's compatible, this settings will fix any connectivity issue with the networks. If not, It will continue running on HSPA or lower.

Hope this helps. 😃
