can only see Rogers Wireless (2G) network

I just got an brand new unlocked T3 from Europe and was planning to use it in Canada. Bought a simcard from Koodo provider. Only it cannot find the proper network. Only one that shows is Rogers wireless (other phones show at least 3 networks available). Other Sim card show the same. Factory reset does not help.

Is your phone the version that is able to work on other countries network frequency's as different areas of the world use different frequency's so your phone may not be designed to work on those frequency's
