Can I use nexus 7 charger to charge my Z3?

hi,

My d6616 uses EP880 charger. However, 1 week ago, the charger died that there was no output with different cables

Can I use nexus 7 2013 stock charger to charge it? Is it safe enough?

EP880: 5V - 1.5A

Stock Nexus 7 charger: 5.2V - 1.35A

I have been using it for a week without any problem

p/s: Im extremly disappointed with Sony. easily breaking back glass, dead charger, waterproof defect -> touchscreen problem (color indicator is still white, not red), weaker signal reception compared to iphone 6 & galaxy s3

Thanks

You shouldn't, that charger seems to be a quick charger, it won't quick charge your device and it could reduce the battery life

as for your issue

The phone it is waterproof as long as there's no physical damage and the flaps are firmly closed. If the back was cracked then its not waterproof, the glass can't crack on its on, it has to be hit or put under stress, if it was in your pocket, sitting down could create the stress and/or if you had another object in the pocket, also if you bump into something.

Most usb, if not all chargers output basically the same voltage, the(A) amperage is what tells you how long it will take to charge.
I use the battery doctor app, which chimes when battery is full and again when trickle charge is finished.
Ive had a usb charger plugged in permanently since 2011,cant even remember what brand and too lazy to unplug,I've had 2 new fones and now this Z3, I just plug the usb cable into it.
I'm am electrician, and the basic input/output principles never change, that's why any cheap Chinese adaptor does the job, whether it lasts a long time, can be debated, but definetly won't damage a fone

I have to add, overcharging is what damages batteries.
So I wouldn't plug a fone to charge it and go to bed and wake up 6 to 8 hrs later, like most people do.
Although, every fone has a trickle charge circuit on their pcb board, the effect of it over extended hrs is questionable,
But that's just my personal view, as being a musician as well, you can get 2c resistors and $2 ones, and the difference is immense,
