hi, i m using xperia X8 cellphone. since yesterday the camera is showing problems. it isnt working at all. All i can see is a black screen. n when i restart my phone n start camera application, it says camers is being used by another application. what is the problem n how should i solve it. please help ASAP..

try this

settings -> applications -> manage applications -> camera -> clear data (it won't delete your pictures)

Also try the obvious

take the battery out -> w/o the battery press and hold the power button for few seconds -> put the battery back on and check again

if all fail backup everything and then repair your phone with SUS

Hi, thanks for the advice, but my 'manage application' doesnt have any camera option. Plz help.

From Manage Applications, press the menu button then filter then all and it will be there.
