Camera Xperia L. The truth

Hi Sony,

So I'm gonna be very quickly to ask you guys a question....

I bouth Xperia L because of is Powerfull camera and hdr funcion etc etc...

I bouth Xperia L because this video and is title saiyng that is the best camera ever in a smartphone.. Like sony says  :   Experience Sony camera expertise in a smartphone , so after this i saw this beatiful video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyH7wq1fSVs&feature=player_embedded about the camera in action, and i have to say that is very very good.... ( in the movie only )

Because in reality and after i have my own Xperial L this video is a lie...better a big Lie...

Camera takes blured pictures... If someone moves in the moment of caputre the photo is crap!!!

In presentation video hdr photos takes 1 second to finish... in reality takes 3/4 seconds. 

So this phone camera is great to take photos too things that dont move.... Because if i want to take to a horse in a beach like your video..... in my photo will apeear 3 horses !!!! You know waht i mean.. blured pictures etc etc

I think many of the users that have this phone agree with me.

So do something about it.. update this... I hope this camera dont have a beta software, but i think that is the true!!

Change the camera software in 4.2 or 4.3 uptade ! 

In a scale to 1a 10 a give 3 to this camera... realy very disapointed !

I can confirm that. My Xperia L has the same problems with blurred photos. I hope Sony can fix this.

Its easy to see. And its a shame to sony make a video lake that, where camera is fantastic e " we- consumeres " buyed this phone, and nothing is true in that video. 

My question is... How sony alow this? Its sony not huawei......Fix this guys....

Just install cameraMX app,

Your problem would be resolved.

No more blurred pics, no more adjustment of camera setting,

Better focus

Trust me Best alternative for stock camera 🙂

All i want is to sony put the phone as the video says !!! Briliant as the pictures in the video! Thats why i buyed this phone!

For me its the last product from sony that i will buy in my life ! The first and the last !

You are correct the images they show on the web page are unrealistic. I can't get my phone to focus on anything over 1 /12 to 2 feet. I love everything else about the phone but the image noise and lack of focus along with the shutter lag is horrible. And the flash is worthless indoors. How can a phone not take al least a halfway decient shot indoors. I posted on another thread that my Xperia X10a took better photos and it was made about 4 or 5 years ago. I think Sony is deceptive in their advertising.

I think this phone have a bad camera... Flash is too bad... Only hdr is good, but 3-4 scds to take a photo??? come on...

Hope new firmware fix this!

I just wanted to try that CameraMX aplication to see is there any diference from stock camera app and there is not but only diference is the weight of photo - stock camera photo has 2.3Mb and same photo taken with CameraMX has 1.3Mb. Interesting is that when I zoom in both photos have same noise. And YES - Sony lied about that camera in XL , photos are very bad and with poor details. Yo Sony -U can put your 8Mp in... u know where. My phone befeore XL was Samsumg I 5800 with 3.15Mp and, comparing it now, they are little better than those 8Mp's. U messed up Sony! Fix it! U got $ becouse WE had bought your phones, so hire more people to solve our and Yours problem(s). Thank YOU! Zoran from Croatia.
