Camera Unavailable message

I've had my X10 for coming to 3 weeks now. Absolutely love it and all...... but there are some issues.

Most recently, I mean 2 days ago, I attempt to take a picture and I get a message "camera unavailable" and I can't access anything.

I checked the version, and my phone has Camera v1 and v4 installed (from the update).

Has anyone else had this problem????

I'd really love to try and get this dealt with sicne the camera is pretty good on it

ps. Does anyone know how to reinstall the camera??

Have you tried switching your phone off, wait 15-30 seconds, and turn it back on to see if the camera function again?

I actually tried that twice. The first time nothing happened. The second time the camera is working again. No clue.

Thanks for the reminder to always restart the unit first....  I think that is the first rule of technical support!

No problem. what are friends for... or acquaintances.

That is the first rule of any early adopters and technician.

BTW, this little episode does have an implication. It kinda indicate your motherboard was running afoul of something. I would suggest you take a closer look at your third party apps.

unfortunately the camera unavailble error occurred during a nice trip away where photos wer desired and therefore not achieved
