That's normal, the phone will turn off the camera to protect it from overheating, same with the phone, if it gets too hot it will turn off to avoid any damage.
If you record on 4K it will heat up quite fast, that's normal.
Other apps running in the background, network coverage, wifi, and even weather conditions can affect this.
