camera panorama function

i previously had a satio found in ( i know poor me) however it camera was superior to the one on the xperia S.
i would have thought that after a further two years to develop the phone it would have been superior to the previous one (it's why it's called an upgrade)

however apart from the well documented focus problem, it also has another fundemental flaw (other than no macro of course)
panorama - seriously  ?
it's ok if in a well lit room and taking picture of some group right in front of you, but for landscapes...

panned too fast, panned too fast, panned to slow, panned too fast, panned to slow, grey areas in the image .... (we've all been there)
i actually managed to sell a few of my satio pictures, but thatis all a distant memory with the useless brick they promote as a camera phone..
you can't even select half panorama, so you end up with massive bit you don't want that ultimetely crashes the picture before you've finished taking it.
when you do manage to get a picture finally, the horizon lookes like someone has been at it with a hacksaw..
what was wrong with the choice of 2 or 3 meld ?
it seems that sony are going out of their way to alienate what loyalty i had left for them after the satio.

has anyone found a patch that will make this even half work like it was supposed to ?

there are other panorama apps on the market, that work a bit better, I agree with you, I would want an update on this function, perhaps removing the 270degree limit and have an option for it to be free, also Sony MUST stop compressing the pictures so much, a panoramic picture that is less than 1MB?

I'll forward the feedback internally.
