Camera not working with apps

hey all i just recently got the U ,upgraded to ICS  but now the trouble starts .

when using apps like instagram or other picture apps the camera only shows 1 third of the screen the rest is black . when i take the picture it shows the full picture but not correct its off with about 10 cm of the picture i wanted to take.

this is only when using the camera with apps usingthe camera just to take a picture for the phone its doing it correctly.

is this problem already stated or is this a solo problem and do i need to get my phone back to the shop for warrenty?

Haven't head about this before actually. Have you tried making a reset of the phone after updating to ICS? Checked for updates to the apps (instagram for example)? Since ICS for Xperia U is quite new the apps might not be updated properly yet to provide compatibility.

tried all of this nothing is working the problem is happening with apps that use the camera but not the camera software from sony i think.

same problem. this really sucks because of the fact that the xperia U wont be upgraded anymore.
