camera not available since software update 02/2014

Ever since the update my smartphone has been acting up. First complete blackscreen but ik.fixed that with a complete reset. But my camera is giving me problems now. 95% of the time it gives me the.message 'camera not available' and all of the video's i have made, after trying over and over again show as broken video's op the miniature and can not be opened

Hi there,

Try the following:

Settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear data/cache > Force Stop > Restart your phone and try again.

If that doesn´t work, re-install the phone software with Sony Update Service.

It did not help, but i stopped using instagram and that somehow did resolve the issue cause there is nothing else i have done differently since it started working again

I got the same problem but the solution is
Go to settings /apps/ all apps / chose the camera and clear all data and force stop. And restart your phone and it will be work again. I only receive this error when. I turn my phone first time after update but later it works great. After the solution
