I just bought an Xperia Z few months ago. But recently, i have encountered problem regarding my phone's camera. There is a black dot in every picture and video I captured. I can confirm this is not an issue of dirt on the back of my phone's camera. Picture below is an example of a picture i captured using my xperia Z. Can I send it to repair?
Thanks for yr help.
Sorry to hear that! Have you tried a software repair on the handset? Do you see this dot at any other time when using the handset?
If you'd like to arrange a repair on your handset, I would recommend getting in touch with the Xperia Care team in your region: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/support/contact-us/contact-info-

I've seen this before on many forums and it's most likely dirt on the camera sensor. Dust gets in there somehow. Perhaps through the headphone jack. Or then it's been there ever since manufacture and has somehow shifted onto the sensor. Some people have gotten rid of it by gently tapping on the phone.
It is NOT software related, but physical dirt on the sensor.
Anyhoo, I hope it's a warranty issue, since it IS pretty common, so it could be a manufacture fault.
