Camera has improved a Lot with 15.3.A.0.26 Update

Hi All , 

Updated to Latest firmware today..

I am impressed with the camera performance with tis update..

Especially in low light.. 

In Previous firmware,the photos are overexposed and some are noisy

In this Update 

The Low light images are sharper,

But underexposed (darker) in Auto mode..

those who are having this problem in low light with auto mode ,Can try the following steps manually to improve the quality..

Mode: Normal 

ISO : 800

Flash : Auto(For nearby objects) or Fill Flash(for distant objects)..

HDR:off

Other settings :default

The results will be good..

Now I am Satisfied with the Tagline of Sony for this Phone..

I think no. 15.0.A.1.36 has way better details and sharpness than 2.17 and even compare to the latest firmware. The addition of auto SCN didnt bring a great help but instead introduced underexposed shot and shots take using manual ISO 800 have a grea loss of detail. during 15.0.A.1.36, shots are so great. If only theres no corruption of files on 16GB Class 10 (My SD Card) I would stick to that update. Laggy videos on 1.36 have a workaround and front camera on 1.36 is ok on good ligthing... 

Since this is the first firmware release for 4.2.2, hope sony will improve it. Otherwise the 4.2.2 is so fluid and smooth. RAM Management is better compare to 4.1

Camera capture and flash timing fail so picture taken with flash are worst

Autoscene photos are underexposed, I agree..

In normal mode with flash on , with high iso 400 or 800,the quality is good..i mean less noisy..

And camera quality improve but it seem to be like that i capture from 2mp with flash

Can. I reverse back to the previous version i.e 4.1.2. Or i have to go Sony care for camera problem

u have to root your phone to flash 4.1.2 firmware.. Sony ll release a patch soon to overcome the bugs,as this is the first firmware of 4.2.2

I don't think they will downgrade
