have you tried to check the camera settings, to see if the capture mode is set to touch only?
try to check using service test, dial *#*#7378423#*#* under service test keyboard and switch, see if it is detected
You may also need to run a repair to reload the firmware.

Thank you nolramlb I did as you said and run those tests... Its good. Detects both autofocus as well as camera.... Hardware seems good...
