Camera file naming issue

When I make a picture, the system gives it a name like DSC_0064.JPG. If I delete this picture and make a new one the new file will have the exact same name instead of DSC_0065.JPG. Are there any setting or solution to force the system to use continuos file naming?

There is no way around this sorry as it will always name them in succession like this.

Any chance it will change in a newer version?

At this stage I would say it is unlikely as this has been a standard function for many generations of handsets.

Standard or not, never experienced this with any phones or cameras. Makes "life" harder and cloud sync unusable in some way
