Camera black screen

Hi everybody,

I got a Xperia Miro bougth  few month ago and i really very proude about it. Everything's working well apart the camera that has stopped working. When i switch the camera on the screen is black and an "Unknown error" appear as message. Sometimes the camera setting botton can be seen for a while before the error message (sceen is alwais black). I tryed to downlond a new camera app. to evaluate if it was a hardware / software problem. With the new camera app. i can shot pictures in frontal camera only (i can see the screen) but if i switch to rear camera, the screen is still black, i can not see the scene anyway the picture can be shooted (somewhere :smileyshocked:without any managing possibility). Internal camera version 2.B.12

Do someone has any tip to solve this problem?

Try this please: Main menu > Settings > Apps > All > Camera > Clear Data.

Hi Sam,

thanks for your tip but unfortunatelly it doesn't work anyway with the "unknown error" message on the screen it rises up a new message - "use volume key to zoom in/ zoom out".

It's strange because, clearing data, i can see that message 3 times than anymore (switching the camera on and off). Of course if i touch the volume key i can set it only.
