Calls issue

After update to 6.0 all calls received ou sms have (00 + area code number) added, however it should disregard it once the number which is calling me or messaging come from the same area code from my number. It didn't happen with previous android.

How can I fix it?  

I must say I am not very happy with this android update. As my phone is a dual chip, the previous android allowed me to choose different notification tones for each phone number, making me able to know in advance what number is ringing...now all the calls have the same ringtone, no matter what chip is being called to...

Many other functionalities have disappear either....

But the biggest problem is the fact that even though you reset your device to "fabric standart" you are not able to get back the oldest android, previously installed when you bought your phone...once you update, no matter how bad it is working, you must to stick with the marshmallow......

I'm not sure if I understand your problem correctly. When you receive an call or SMS, the phone number shows 00+ before the number?

In addition, you are unable to set specific ring tones for your contacts anymore?

Exactly.....when I received a call from a number that belong to the same area code of my SIM, only the phone number show up, without area codes before it.

 Now all the calls and messages come with internacional and area code before it....it was something that didnt happen before update.

Phone numbes with the same area code, shows only its number....different area codes should show up before the phone number.

So now, If I need the call back that number, I need to remove those area code before dial, otherwise the call fails.

No, I can set ringtones to my contacts, but I can't do it to each SIM on my phone, once it is dual, I used to have different notification ringtone to each of them. Now, it's unabled.

If you have a look at your contacts, are they listed with the 00 in here? Or does this only appear when a call/sms comes in?

Does it happen if you send an SMS to your own number too?

I looked at my contacts, all the same area code have only its number.

It happens only when a new number calls me or message me. 

Is there any way to get back to the old android, previous 6.0 ?

I am afraid there is no method I can advise to downgrade your firmware.

Can you please test your phone in safe mode and see if the same issue occurs?
