Call speaker volume is too loud.

Hi,

For me is the call speaker volume too loud, I have set it to minimum volume, but it's still too loud.

How to reduce the volume?

are you talking about the earpiece or the loudspeaker volume during call>?

unfortunately there is no way to lower the volume other than what is preset  in the device.

I'm talking about phone speaker volume during call.

Hi @ksuuk,

Just to clarify, are you referring to the loudspeaker (you don't need to have your ear pressed against the phone)? This speaker is activated during a call by pressing the loudspeaker feature in the call menu.

Sorry, I mean earpiece.

Do you make sure to lower the volume while you have an active call? You can only adjust the in-call volume while you have an active call active. With that said, it unfortunately isn't possible to lower the volume than what the minimum is set to.

If you suspect that there may be something wrong with your device, then I recommend that you try to visit a retailer or a friend that may have an Xperia X in order to compare the volume levels ofr your X with theirs.

I use Bluetooth earpiece and the volume goes quite low. Perhaps it's your Bluetooth device set on its own predetermined lowest volume. They all vary.

Oh @ksuuk, do you happen to use an accessory as @Kashton mentioned? In that case it could be related to the accessories built-in volume control as well.

Let me know what you use and I'll gladly assist you. Slightly_smiling_Face

I see, in that case I refer to my previous reply; if you suspect that there's something odd about your device then I recommend comparing the volume levels to a different Xperia X.
