Call Log lasts only 2 days

My call log list(dailed calls, incoming calls, missed calls) displays with only two days list or the maximum of 20 to 30 entries. I dont want the call log to be erased automatically. What changes in the settings need to be done?

Need help in this regard. Thanks.

I've seen other users with this problem, it might be that this phone's dialer can't handle a lot of call logs, perhaps a different Dial app should solve the problem
