Hi!
I have Sony Xperia Z, from day one it has issue in call receiving, only 50% of calls it receives, and rest of 50% when I receive call the receive icon gets kind of stuck, and it make that call a missed call instead of receiving it, I upgraded it from Kitat to Lollypop but the problem persist.
I check internet, and also checked call forwarding but all call forwarding settings are disabled. I am also attaching the screenshot of how the call receive icon get stuck.
Regards,
Syed Arbab Ahmed.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues receiving calls.
This sounds like an issue with either the network, the SIM-card or the phone itself.
What happens if you try the phone on GSM only and then WCDMA only under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Network mode? Do you see this issue on both networks?
@Rickard: Changing network also did not work, it remains the same, sometime it receives call and sometime not
Image hardly has any clue, as the phone icon remains on the call receive, it all the picture says and as I said it makes it a miss call then
Try clearing cache of your phone app:
- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Phone -> Clear data and restart your phone (This may erase your call logs, back up them using Back up & restore app if you nee them)
I have clear cache more than 3 times but it did not work either.
Would it be possible for you to try your phone with another SIM-card (if possible, from another provider)?
I used that SIM in different mobiles as well but never had any issue of receiving calls
Even if the SIM works in another phone i recommend that you try your phone with another SIM card. A bad connection with the SIM card could for example cause this issue.
But in case the issue remains with another SIM-card i suggest that you first try to reinstall the phones software using PC Companion but please note that this will reset your phone and delete all your data.
If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.
