Call and Message Blocker

Is there any in built app in Xperia Tipo to block messages and calls??If there isn't any please suggest me a good third party call and message blocker.....I tried blocking messages and calls by installing Avast mobile security and AVG Mobilty security but the phone was hanging a bit so it forced me to uninstall.....

there isnt' to block messages but go to settings > call settings > call blocking

I couldn't find anything as 'call blocking'.....which among there you are talking about??

interesting that this phone doesn't have it, btw I can see that you might have apps that you do NOT need at all and cause issues

I took the screen shot connecting to my PC....so USB debugging is enabled....yea I have installed Avast antivirus to block calls and messages......as it made my phone to hang a bit i asked for the supplementary...... 'battery indicator and Juice defender' isn't it necessary??

you don't need any of those apps, as you can see they will slow down your phone, also they will drain your battery, yeah even battery apps, also they will make Android unstable and create connectivity issues.

check under all the possible call settings, it might be there. as far as suggesting another app it will be better if you try them.

Step 1) Add the unwanted number to your Contacts book if you haven’t already done so

Step 2) Open that contact’s page and tap the ‘Edit’ button

Step 3) tap All Calls to voicemail

I did that through the contacts list options for the calls, what about text messages? i can't seem to find any setting in my phone, maybe an app?
