Call and Data issues in Roaming

Hello,

I am based out of Mumbai, India and I use a Sony Xperia Z. I use Vodafone 3G as the carrier. In roaming, the calls and the data does not work. It shows full network without any symbols. A restart is required to make  calls and use the internet data. But that does not last for long. After some time again I have to do a restart to make calls or use data.. I have not come across with this issue when I am not in roaming.Need help..Does anyone has come across this issue earlier...

So if I understand you correctly, you can place some calls and use data while roaming if you reboot the phone?

If yes, It would be interesting to see if the same problem remains using another SIM card.

Is the phone updated with the latest version of the software?
