calendar widget does not show birthdays from facebook on 4.0.4

Hello.

I wanted to know why does the calendar widget does not show birthdays from facebook as it did on 2.3.7.

Only when I tap on the calendar widget ang go inside to the calendar itself, I can see the birthdays from facebook.

Is it a bug or it was ment by SONY?

Does anyone else has that problam??

As far as I know this isn't a bug, it's a change in the ICS update. I don't know why it was changed, but it has changed since 2.3.

But surely this defeats the whole point of Facebook Inside Xperia?! What's the point of having the calendar with the option to sync to Facebook if the widget isn't going to show the Facebook events/birthdays?

We have received feedback regarding this earlier so it has been passed on internally for investigation.

The same problem persists with my xperia S post the ICS update..where not only does the facebook brithday events are not shown but even the calender entries are not shown in the widget. Kindly help..!

After I upgraded to ICS I had the same problem. But after I reseted the phone to factory default this function became avalibe. You can backup everything with Sony PC Companion, and you get your settings, programs and theme layout back.

Mine never showed anything after the UK generic ICS update so i installed Go Calendar which shows everything from public holidays to birthdays and reminders.
