Calendar Color Problem - AGAIN?

Hi,

I'm a previous X10 owner and I just bought an XPERIA S.

After 30 minutes of use I'm shocked to find out that my different google calendars are AGAIN the same color. I emphasize again, since we had the same problem going from Android 1.6 to 2.1 on the X10 (this bug was solved in later versions). I'm looking at 5 different calendars all with the very Dutch 'Orange' color...

Different colors for my different calendars are essential. Now, there is no way to tell if I have a business meeting coming up or if my wife has a fitness class...

Can somebody  tell me if he experiences the same problem?

Is there a workaround?

If the stock app isn't playing ball then I would suggest using a third party app from the Android market/Play Store.

I have used Jorte since I first got my X10 and still think its one of the best free apps around.  I have recently moved to a paid app Calengoo which I don't love as much but I was having an issue with syncing past events on Jorte which Calengoo manages fine.

There may be a tweak in a later update (who knows!?) but in the meantime have a search for a third party app that suits you.

I installed business calendar and it works ok. The colors pop up correctly.

However, I'm confused why this problem keeps coming back...

Does it have anything to do with the country I'm in (Belgium)? Many people I know experience the same problem on different devices. In other countries it seems ok. Strange...

If it is appearing on different devices it could be an issue on the google end of the equation.  Certainly the issue I had with back dated appointments was google related and certain developers have found a work around for it so this may be a similar issue.

Hello, I've the same problem. From now I'm using official GOOGLE CALENDAR APP (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calendar&hl=it). It's perfect. In application setting i've disabled the Sony calendar default app. Hope color of stock calendar application will be integrate as feature request in next firmwares updates.
