My son's c902 keeps showing the message 'serious error, stop charging and contact sony ericsson customer care', or something v similar. After researching online, I purchased a new battery, believing it would cure the problem, but no, the message is still appearing. Any ideas?
Does this happen when you charge the phone via the USB cable? If not, then it sounds like a faulty charger.
If it gives you the same message when charging via USB or with a different charger, such as a car charger,
wipe any dirt off the phone's fast-port connector pins and try again.
If this doesn't work, check/clean the battery terminals and contacts inside the phone.
