I bought my Sony SmartWatch 2 a few days ago and I was quite happy with it. Ok, I would prefer a higher resolution (Retina like) and Wireless charging (Qi standard), but it reached my expectations, until now.
A few hours ago I went to the park with my nephews, and almost an hour later I realized I had lost the buckle of the black silicon strap. I am very upset on how a device supposed to be used also in sports (it comes with a Runkeeper pro license!) can be so weak. I could have also lost the watch because of this!
Luckily I came back to the park and found the buckle.
Now, how can I use this watch with my Endomondo app if it is so weak? I am very angry because this was one of the reasons to buy this watch.
These small pins are having spring inside and this works push in function. the thing is you are still using silicon wristband.so this can be bend very easy due to that your pins may got pushed in and the buckles have been fallen. i recoment you to use metal band here after. I hade my own experiance with my MN2. if this helps give me some kudos.
Yes, I know why that happens, and I know changing the watch strap for the steel one is a solution, but at least in my country there are not straps sold alone at Sony's website.
They are standard 24mm straps, so I could buy a new one on a local jewelry, but if I knew this problem I would have bought first the smartwatch with the steel strap.
