My phone suddenly started working for a brief period and now again the touch stopped working. I am pretty sure its the S/W messing up. I need to return it to the service guys.. Can anybody tell me how to backup and wipe my phone clean ( eg hard reset) without using the touch screen.. I have read that you can do it via the recovery mode but how does one boot into the recovery mode.. can anybody please help me..

Guys, I implore uall to help me and the rest of us with this issue.. I have read other forums and it seems that some Sony Phones with ICS have touchscreen issues.. Its starts off as difficulty in unlocking the phone or answering calls but ends up with a dead touch screen..

I am pretty sure its a s/w issue.. Does anybody have any idea of what this issue can be and what can be the possible solutions.. A flash or a complete reset..

A guy who gave such a phone to the service guys was returned the phone onfirming a s/w issue.. Kindly shed some light developers/sony support/users..
