Broken xperia X10 LCD screen (just glass)

Hi there, just a question really. I have an xperia X10 and one day when removing it from my pocket I noticed some hairline cracks. I know I havent dropped it or given it any sort of abuse. Is this a warrenty issue? I know it hasn't broken through a fault of myself, i.e extra pressure on the touch screen. has anyone else had a similar problem and if I am expected to repair this myself (i would be well unimpressed as i feel it is a manufacturing fault) how much would it cost? many thanks

I dont think that this will happen unless a strong pressure was applied on the phone.

Well if you are sure that you have not done anything wrong then the phone should get warranty if under waranty period.

The same thing happened to me today and i didn't drop the phone or put any great pressure on the screen. I just took it out of my bag and noticed 3 hairline cracks across the screen. I have had the phone for 8 months and have not done anything differently today than i have since i bought it. i also believe it is a fault with the phone and am hoping it will be covered by a warranty. not a happy bunny 😞
