Broken screen

i have accidentially broken the screen which is used to have screen. i am wondering to buy a new sony phone or repair the existing one.

is there any way that i can retrieve back my info like phone contacts from computer

Or if buying a new sony phone, can the old data transfer from old to new phone without unlocking my old phone?

Buy a OTG USB cable > connect a mouse to the phone (through the OTG USB cable)
