Brightness problem in sony xperia u

Hi..

         i updated my xperia u to ics.i got bad results like slow processing,50% of  brightness .please tell me how to resolve brightness issue.or can i downgrade to earlier version from service center.

go to settings >display>brightness>untick auto brightness, the problem will solve.
