I installed an application which is incompatible to my Xperia Ray running on ICS (I did not read the description properly, I know I'm really careless :smileysad:), and now it does not start up.
My phone keeps showing the Sony logo and then the Xperia logo and then go to the Sony logo again.
My phone is rooted and it's running on ICS, as I said earlier.
However, I'm a beginner to Android so I know nothing too complicated such as flashing ROMs.
I hope that it's just a problem with the software and that I can repair it at home.
I'm wondering if downgrading it to gingerbread would help and if so, how can I do it via PC?
To all the Android pros out there, please help me!
I just had my phone for 6 months and I'm not planning on buying a new one anytime soon.
A million thanks in advance!
*If possible, I want to stay with stock firmware.
Try to enter safe mode and see if it works.
Strt your mobile and press and hold the menu button.. if you enter safe mode then uninstall the app or do a factory data reset
If that doesn't helps, perform a sfotwar repair and it should be fine
I couldn't enter safe mode.
And for the software repair, PC Companion requires the phone to be fully on so..my phone keeps turning on and off on its own.
Thanks for the effort though
