Bootloader unlock allowed : No (question)

hi,

First of all sorry for my english, i'm french, but i can try.

I bought a sony xperia in france with orange (an operator) and i want to unlock my bootloader...  But i can't because i can read "bootloader unlock allowed : no".

So, can i change it into "yes" ?

With i  my  code to unlock my sim (to be sim free), can i go into a sony reparation center to change my bootloader statut or no ?

Please help me, nobody know the correct answer ><</p>

Hello Everyone,

I have confirmed that if you get your SIM unlock code from Movistar, that you can contact our office (+34 902 88 22 50) and they will work with you to make arragements with them to have a technician unlock the bootloader. The bootloader must be unlocked by a technician, it can not be done via PC, etc.

This is something the local office is aware of and will process for you if you meet the above criteria

Can i do the same thing in france ?

Give the local support a call to verify 100%. I'm pretty sure it's not possible, just as Uliwooly says, but give them a call just to be certain.
