Boot takes forever, the boot logo(SE logo) are very lag, after enter homescreen, it restarting immidiately.

I have SE arc S and i just bought it yesterday. the thing is, after playing with about an hour, it restart by itself. and when i try to switch it on, the boot takes forever and the logo are very laggy. then, when it boot to homescreen, after 2 or 3 sec, it restart. and this still happen untill now. can someone help me?

Hi, suggest you Software Repair phone. Here's the download link, http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/. Download and install to PC/Laptop, launch it and follow on-screen instructions. Be aware that this process will erase phone data completely.

you probably have an old firmware

go to settings about phone -> which android version and build number do you have

the latest Gingerbread

2.3.4 build number 4.0.2.A.0.62

there's ICS available BUT it has a lot of issues, 4.0.4 its about to be released sometime this week (last week of May)

Since you bought it on 26th May, try getting it replaced from the store you bought. If they wont replace, then try to Software repair your cell.
