Bluetooth??

I´ve got the x10 mini pro and i am wondering why you cant send tracks, pitures, videos etc. via bluetooth!? I´ve had lots of other sony ericsson phones (not android) and all of them have been able to do.

Ok this is a link to how I got my X10 maxi to bluetooth.  No-one has confirmed whether the mini was able to follow the same proceedure but it may help.

If you are somewhere with good wifi or 3g there is an app called 'Bump' which I only discovered yesterday as a way of transfering files from my husbands Iphone but assume it would work with the mini too.  It took a bit of fiddling around (well waving the phones around to be more accurate)  and btw you dont have to smack them together just a good flick in each others general direction did the trick but once the phones recognised they were in the same location it all went well.

Hey there Peter

Well Mediascape is the app for viewing pics or video or music on my big X10... not so sure what you have on the mini.  I have to say I played with the mini in the shop before I finally decided on its big bruv but thought it was a great little phone, I just wanted a bigger screen.

I think once you get used to a whole new way of using it you'll be fine.  These babies are not without their quirks tho!

I'm not sure that I am the best person to be helping you with this cos I don't have the mini. Maybe a file manager like Astro would help you locate the lost apps. Its a free one on the market so hopefully it will download ok and not get lost too. Have you had a look via the search on this site for your particular problems?  I also use XDA developers  http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=615 and the Android http://androidforums.com/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10/ forum.

Good luck with it! Let me know how you get on.

The X10 mini is very much like the larger X10 and to find 'bluetooth'. Tap the applications bar, select 'Settings'. Then 'Wireless Controls' and then 'Turn Bluetooth On'. Showed a friend how to do it and has worked great for them.
