According to the official specifications, Xperia M is supporting "Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology" aka Bluetooth Smart. Android is officially supporting Bluetooth Smart in Version 4.3 and above. But as the Xperia M is still running on Android 4.1, can anyone explain if it's possible now to connect Bluetooth Smart Devices like The Polar H7 Heart Rate Monitor? If not, will it definitely be possible after an update to Android 4.3 that hopefully will come one day, else Bluetooth 4 will remain useless in this phone...?
Xperia M does not support 'Bluetooth Smart'. Unfortunately I have no information about upcoming software updates. Keep an eye on our blog for all the latest info:
Now, when Android 4.3 is installed, no bluetooth smart is available still.
So why have BT 4.0 if you don't support BLE!!
