Bluetooth query.

New Sony Ericson Experia Mini.  Bluetooth will detsct other phones and pair.  Now the problem is this.  When the phones visibility is on (form a poxy 120 secs) no other phone in my house can find it or send it any files etc.  Is there a general problem with bluetooth on this phone that i am unaware of?

Have you downloaded Bluetooth File Transfer from market?  That solves most problems altho getting the knack of it seems to be the issue.  If you look in the MOre Like This box to the right of the screen there are loads and loads of threads with varying bits of advice.  I personally haven't had any probs connecting mine and my son's old SE dumb phones and my netbook to my X10 big.  There does seem to be a bit more of an issue with the mini's.

Edit Also tried with a very ancient Samsung D500 (I think) also no problem.  Make phones detectable, pair, exchange passwords and away you go.

the phone dont support bluetooth at the moment which is y u have to download the file transfer app from the market

I seem to be able to do most things with the bluetooth as well, I can't seem to see where everyone's having problem.

I have used bluetooth for many things and had very few problems. If something does go wrong I turn bluetooth off on both devices and simply try again and it seems to work after this.

that's not true. the only thing the X10 can't do with a bluetooth is 'reverse tethering', or using the X10 as a modem.
