This problem started week ago, my car Bluetooth device though my phone is on outgoing calls and started an outgoing call timer on it after my phone connected it as a bluetooth headset automaticlly. I do believe it is not the headset side problem, because I've been try switching with 3 different cars, two of them are OEM bluetooth headset, and one is SONY XNV660BT head unit, the problem still exist. Which I did try to download task manager or reset my bluetooth or remove all devices from the phone side, restart, turning ON/OFF did every possible activites which still did not solve the problem. Everytime I have to manually "Hang up" with the bluetooth headset or I've to disable the "Bluetooth Headset" from the phone side to solve the problem. The "Bluetooth Audio" side works well, and I tried to find out which does not related to any 3rd party app, and I also did not add/install any new apps which is bluetooth related. I find out once I disable the "Headset service" under the system "Bluetooth" option, the problem has been solved.
Seeking for specific way to get my headset works normally connection
Thanks
Well, to rule out any issues with the phone software I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
How to backup?
If you use Viber app, it could be it. I had this problem with my car head unit until Viber sorted this problem out at last in latest release.
